2012 HYMNAL SAMPLER

The new Presbyterian hymnal, Glory to God, is just a little over a year away from publication. As the Presbyterian Publishing Corporation works toward the September 2013 release, we are pleased to further introduce the contents and outline. This new hymnal sampler is organized in the same manner as Glory to God. Liturgical material and orders of service are printed in the front, followed by music ordered according to the history of salvation. Beginning with the Triune God and concluding with our response to God, the sampler includes one hymn, psalm, or spiritual song from nearly every section of the hymnal. Each page is formatted as it will appear in Glory to God. The complete list of contents is listed alphabetically by first line in the back of the sampler.

A copy of this sampler will be mailed to every PC(USA) congregation and institution following the 220th General Assembly meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, June 20–July 7, 2012.

ACCOMPANIMENTS

The accompaniments below may be downloaded; however, they may not be reproduced or shared beyond each individual’s usage. No reproduction of any part of these accompaniments by any means is authorized or intended by this availability of selected contents. Due to copyright restrictions, these accompaniments are intended for use between June 2012 and June 2013. Requests for further use must be directed to the copyright holders below. Additionally, you will notice that these accompaniment hymns have been reduced proportionately so that they fit on letter-size paper.
